Ayurveda
The word Ayurveda consists of two parts: 'Ayur' which means 'life' and 'Veda' which means 'knowledge'. Ayurveda means 'the science of life' and is known as the art of traditional Indian healing.
For in Ayurveda is also the motto: "What poison is for one person can be nectar for another."
The holistic view of the human being plays a keyrole in Ayurveda. So not only the disease but the human as a whole is treated. Disease means a disharmony between body, mind and consciousness, while health represents a harmony, a balance between these.

The goal of ayurvedic healing is to avoid serious illnesses by trying to get to the root of the problem, and to understand underlying cause of the disease and stop unhealthy habits.
In addition, there are a number of treatments that are designed to help the body "help oneself", such as oils, diets, massages, yoga, etc.
"What poison is for one person can be nectar for another."
